Hello all, i am J-War a French composer, guitarist and drummer of TW!Am my altern metal band ( www.thewayiam.net ), i am also a huge Doom fan.

I had the chance to have a good wavetable when i first played Doom 2 eons ago (Aka the begining of the 90's), this allowed me to realize Robert Prince's musics had a great part in the overal game mood.

With the new doom ports out there you can now load playlists in order to have in game hi-quality Ogg Vorbis music format.

For you to enjoy the original music with the greatest sound quality possible, i made this complete arranged version of the original tunes.

Install for Risen 3D :
----------------------

Extract the J-War.exe to the folder you installed Risen3D ( example - c:\Risen3D )


An entry called 'J-War - Doom2' now appears in the Music Playlists of the Risen3D launcher, 
highlight this entry and click the 'Man' button so that it indicates LOAD.

Alternatively you can link the 'J-War - Doom2' playlist with the Doom2 iwad as part of an 
auto-playlist group, read the docs to find out how to do this. While playing, make sure 
that Risen3D is set to use OGG (Toggle) for playing music in the sound settings.

There's nothing sure about it but I might be doing the same for Hexen and Doom 1 (maybe Heretic although i am not a huge fan)... Who knows ?
